A harsh inner critic or black-and-white thinking
Grief over lost community, family or faith
Feeling numb, stuck or disconnected from yourself
How we can help
Care comes from an LGBTQ+ provider who understands how faith, family and identity can collide. You never have to defend who you are.
Care may include trauma-informed therapy, DBT and CBT skills for shame and anxiety, grounding and mind-body practices, and medication when it helps. If you want to explore spirituality again, we can make room for that too.
Good to know
Religious trauma often shows up alongside anxiety, depression, PTSD, sexual shame and family conflict. We treat the whole picture, and we respect your relationship with faith, whether you’re keeping it, rebuilding it or letting it go.
