Wellthy Psychiatry is in network with Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross California, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, Oxford / Optum, Quest Behavioral Health and United Healthcare / Optum. The self-pay rates below apply if you prefer to pay privately, use out-of-network benefits, or have a plan we’re not in network with. We provide superbills for PPO reimbursement.
Psychiatric evaluation

All visits after your first. Each includes medication management plus supportive therapy, DBT, CBT or ACT as needed.

Labs & testing
Labs and tests are always optional and depend on your treatment plan. We’ll talk through them together first. These fees are in addition to your session rate for both self-pay and insurance clients.
Lab costs through Fullscript are billed by Fullscript and paid out of pocket.
Letters & forms
There’s no fee for prior authorizations or records transfers. If you have paperwork with a deadline, please book a visit ahead of the due date so we can complete it together.
Forms requiring evaluation (504 letters, work accommodations, ESA letters, letters of support for gender-affirming care, short-term disability)
$595/hr for insurance clients · Included for self-pay
Most forms take about an hour. We don’t provide long-term disability certification. Short-term disability may be considered for established patients in a day program, at the clinician’s discretion. California law requires at least a 30-day clinical relationship before an emotional support animal letter can be provided.
Check-ins & calls
Calls under 5 minutes are free. For anything longer, we’ll schedule a visit so you get our full attention.
Cancellations & no-shows
Please let us know as soon as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule, so we can offer the time to someone else. Life happens, so we offer one courtesy waiver per year for extenuating circumstances.

Good Faith Estimates (No Surprises Act)
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care. Self-pay and uninsured clients receive one when scheduling, and anyone can request one at any time.
